How to Crossover Dribble a Basketball
Once you’ve become comfortable with the basic dribble, the next thing you’ll want to learn is how to crossover dribble a basketball. The crossover is one of the most effective and entertaining moves in basketball when executed correctly, and it will make you much more difficult to guard. At it’s most basic this is how to do the crossover:
- While dribbling the basketball in one hand you will push it across the front of your body toward the other side (from left to right or from right to left)
- The ball should bounce in a “V” motion
- You will then continue the dribble with your other hand
