Kyrie Irving Basketball Drills to Break Ankles

Kyrie Irving “Basketball Drills” to Break Ankles

One of the things players like Kyrie Irving and CP3 excel at is beating more than one defender.

Often when you break your defender’s ankles there’s a second or third defender waiting for you in the lane.

To be a star player you need to be able to handle these defenders and be comfortable dealing with them while keeping your dribble.

If you can score off the dribble that’s even better, because that will open up a lot of your teammates for easy assists later in the game, which is another thing Kyrie does really well.

The key to making this drill effective is to try to get to each cone in one dribble, so you learn how to evade defenders while on the move like Irving does.

“Basketball drills” like this will help you learn how to quickly change directions, cross multiple defenders and finish at the basket, just like Kyrie Irving does so well.
